Appling County High School is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 800 students and offers educational programs in English and foreign languages, fine arts, math, physical education, science, driver's education, social studies and vocational education. It also provides special education to students with special needs. The school has athletic teams in football, basketball, cross country, softball and wrestling. Its library media center provides access to multiple information resources, including secured access to licensed products. Appling County High School is a part of the Appling County School District and is located in Baxley, Ga. The school's athletic team name is the Pirates.
