Located in Battle Ground, Wash., Firm Foundation Christian School is a coeducational private school that offers educational programs to students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It is a nonprofit ministry of the Apostolic Lutheran Church. The school has a staff of nearly 30 full-time certified teachers and offers classes in art, music and physical education. Firm Foundation Christian School conducts a program, ARISE, for students who need extra help in reading, writing, spelling and comprehension. The school follows the A Beka curriculum for core subjects. In addition, it provides coaching and training in basketball, soccer, and track and field. Firm Foundation Christian School is affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International and has an annual enrollment of more than 200 students.

I have two children at Firm Foundation (second and tenth grade). I would highly recommend the school to anyone concerned about having a strong Christian foundation in their childs education as well as high academic standards. Having had 4 children and experiences with various private schools, home schooling and public schools, I am most pleased with the staff and programs offered at FFCS. My children have been cared for with love and respect while held to high standards, and parent involvement is always valued. I have never regretted the decision to enroll my children at FFCS and I plan to continue to send them to FFCS school through HS graduation. The administrative team is comprised of strong, committed Christians and I have great faith that they will continue to follow the Lords leading in developing programs that honor and please Him.
