Guardian Finance and Advocacy Services (GFAS) has been a trusted service provider in Southwest Michigan since 1966. Our professional and compassionate staff provides a complete network of public fiduciary services to improve the lives of more than 1,200 clients each year. Our mission is to bring stability, dignity and optimum independence to all we serve, and our vision is of a community in which every individual lives to his or her fullest potential. We operate as a sustainable and caring nonprofit that provides a full continuum of financial and social services, advocate on behalf of our clients to afford them their maximum possible independence, respect clients' individual and legal choices, and aim to be a reliable, knowledgeable, and responsive community partner.
