Alro was started by Alvin and Robert Glick in 1948 in Jackson, Michigan. Today it has grown to over 60 locations in 12 states. The metal inventory includes: carbon steel, aluminum, stainless, alloy steel, tool steel, brass, copper, bronze and cast iron. Shapes include round, square, hex, flat, pipe, tube, sheet, plate, angle, channel, beam, tee, grating, expanded metal, rebar and strapping.
