      General Info

      Dr. Shannon received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he also performed his fellowship in rheumatology. Dr. Shannon is Board Certified in rheumatology. He feels that being a physician allows him to be available for people in their time of need and to take an active part in improving their quality of life.
