General Info

Jill H. Fruge, MD earned her degree in medicine from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, and completed her internship at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She performed her residency in dermatology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Fruge is Board Certified in dermatology. Even as a child, Dr. Fruge always had a special interest in medicine and how the body worked. Over the years, she has appreciated the challenge of helping patients identify problems and treating their conditions. This is especially fulfilling in dermatology where improving skin conditions very often improves your skin's appearance and can help boost self-confidence.
