Ivan J. Gamboa, MD, received his medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois and then completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Rush University Medical Center John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. Dr. Gamboa specializes in the treatment of conditions and diseases of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary disease, adrenal disease, lipid disorders and osteoporosis. He speaks English, Spanish and German.
