I came to the salon for the first time in November to have my natural hair straightened. I was encountered by rude young girls that say at the front desk. The person that did my hair was Nadia and she was very rude while she was doing my hair she got up in the middle while straightening my hair and walked away and started washing another clients hair that walked in even though another stylist was already helping that client and she was gone for about 20 MINUTES!! If I had somewhere else to go after my hair appointment I would've been very angry!! I also heard her muttering something under her breath to another client while she was doing my hair and it didn't sound very nice at all but I couldn't catch what she said. She acted as if she did not want to be at work. And after my hair was done and I paid NONE of the girls at the counter nor Nadia who did my hair thanked me for coming by!!! I must say I will not be going back to Happy Hair at all.

I was very nervous about letting someone near my natural hair after 2 years of healthy growth, but I desired to have a color change. I went in for a consultation one day uninvited, and the staff was very friendly, complimenting me on my hair, and assuring me that they could match my highlights with the color swatch I brought. I ended up calling several times with questions and each time they were ready and willing to provided me with answers about the process. I appreciate that. My stylist was Ryan and he did a great job placing my highlights just where I wanted them AND without re seeing the color swatch, the match was perfect! I was also happy that I didn't have to get my hair flat ironed afterwards, even though they do amazing work in that area also, instead I left with flat twist which I allowed to airdry and took it down when I was ready. I'm now left with this beautiful flat twist out. Overall I was very pleased with the service and the knowledge of the staff, which in this area can be VERY hard to find, and will be revisiting them in the future:)
