Founded in 1951, Commercial Properties Realty Trust is a commercial real estate company formed primarily to acquire, own, lease, redevelop and manage neighborhood and community shopping centers. Located in Baton Rouge, La., it develops and improves real estate, bringing together land, capital, entitlements, design, construction and the market. The company is a successful real estate investment trust (REIT) and it has affiliation with the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. It is also a developer of retail, commercial, residential and mixed-use properties across the Southeastern United States.
