While living in Baton Rouge since 1985, the name Charlie Ward had crossed my path multiple times. So when I had an outboard motor issue I called. Donnie answered, and listened. He clearly was highly knowledgeable with my 90 HP YAMAHA outboard. So, I asked him for a ballpark total price to fix my issue. Today, I pulled my boat into Charlie Ward's. I met Mr. Ward. He is genuine and endearing. Donnie brought me out to my boat, assessed my steering issue, then repaired it on the spot! ALL THE OPPORTUNITY IN THE WORLD TO LET ME UNHOOK MY BOAT and LEAVE IT...INSTEAD, Donnie showed me the issue, how to correct it myself in the future, charged me nominal fee, and I was on my way!!! 5 BIG STARS!!!!
