The South Panola High School is located in Batesville, Miss., and is a division of South Panola School District. It provides several classes in various subjects, such as zoology, botany, algebra, English, American history, accounting, automotive service technology, world history, biology, geometry, desktop publishing, chemistry, agriculture and science. The school specializes in providing career and technical education programs, including culinary and related foods, agriculture, family and consumer science, building and metal trades, business and computer technology, cooperative education and vehicular mechanics. It also offers allied health, special populations, child care and technology discovery programs. The school offers various sports programs, including football, cheerleading, slow pitch softball, volleyball, basketball, baseball, fast pitch softball, tennis and track.
