Batesville Intermediate School is a coeducational institution that offers academic classes to students in grades four through five. It has an annual enrollment of more than 250 students and is located in Batesville, Ind. The school is a part of the Batesville Community School District, which also operates primary, intermediate and middle schools with a combined enrollment of over 1,800 students. Batesville Intermediate School maintains a library and media center that provides a selection of reference books, archives, biographies, databases, encyclopedias, online dictionaries, newspapers and magazines. It additionally supports a variety of programs in art, music, physical education, library and developmental counseling.
