MASH was founded in 1988 by CEO James Hopps, the former head of the regional hospital and healthcare practice in the Dallas office of the national law firm of Fulbright and Jaworski. He saw an unmet, substantially difficult need in the healthcare community. Providers needed dedicated professionals with extraordinary skills to advocate and assist uninsured patients through the multiple twists of public benefit programs. Because of Jim Hopps' pioneering work in eligibility, The Dallas Business Journal named him one of its Healthcare Heroes for 2008.It's all about our mission.Utilizing integrity, proven experience, and commitment to professionalism, it is our mission to provide the best advocacy services and to improve the quality of lives in the communities we touch.
