We purchased 2 pairs of boots on 5/29/12. On one pair the soles are separating. We called the manufacturer, Ariat, and were told to go back to Texas Boot Company and they would take care of the warranty of the boots. I called Texas Boot Company and explained that we didn't live in Bastrop but near by and needed to know what they would need from us. Was put on hold several times, but at the end, was told proof of purchase. My husband and I went to Texas Boot Company and the owner (Marc Conselman) did not try to resolve the issue in any manner. He didn't even offer to contact the manufacturer to find out how they could rectify the situation. When we made it clear that this was unacceptable, Marc told us to leave his store and threatened to call the police. All this could have been avoided if I had been informed that they didn't handle warranty issues for the manufacturer while I was on the phone with them. So consumer beware of this company backing their merchandise, or caring
