General Info
Students enrolled at Art of Motion who wish to take dance as a form of exercise or enjoyment, or those wishing to pursue a professional or performing career all receive the same careful training. Review our policies they come from years of experience and are the guidelines we've found to work best.Shelly Beech began her dance training at age three. She grew up attending the Texoma Dance Convention with faculty that included: Jo Rowan, Gus Giordano, Al Gilbert and Joel Ruminer. These role models helped nurture her love of dance and teaching style. She m ajored in Ballet and Art at the University of Oklahoma and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Oklahoma State University in 1988.Her national reputation as a dance educator has been earned with over two decades of teaching experience. Her students have received scholarships and awards at conventions and colleges all over the country. Shelly attends nat'l dance conventions and seminars to keep up-to-date on the latest styles and teaching techniques.
