Children, Youth and Family Services, located in Barre, Vt., offers various programs to assist parents and children. The organization provides in-home treatment that includes case management, counseling, parent education, daily living skills instruction, advocacy, and coordination with schools and community-based services. In addition, it offers outreach-based mental health services and therapeutic childcare to young children, foster care support, job transition services to assist youth for independent living and provides specialized intensive treatment for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder. Its respite care service provides planned and scheduled breaks to biological and adoptive families caring for a child.
