I was on the waiting list 6 years ago to get in to this daycare. I had to wait 8 months to get my 2 children a place. (we now have 3) Let me tell you all...it was well worth the wait! Everyone is so caring and genuine. I know they are taking excellent care of my babies while I am gone. Only one time have I experienced a teacher that was less than friendly. It was someone that worked in the afternoons, not their regular teacher. I told the director about my concerns. She listens whole heartedly. That teacher was asked to leave. I truly have the upmost respect for everyone at this daycare!

I too have my children enrolled at A Chlids Place child care. They have been there for over 5 years! The views expressed by the other reviewer are not the same as mine. Although I will agree, the staff in its entirety is caring, compassionate and completely in tune with our children, the director is too. She always takes the time to make my children and myself feel welcomed and important! I do know about her home schooling her children. I wish I could do that also. I think, unlike the other reviewer, that shows her dedication to children and their education completely. In regards to the whole "texting" issue. This is something I have NEVER witnessed by the director or any other staff member. Knowing them all as I do, I am certain it would never be tolerated. Again, after all the child cares I toured with my first child, I know for fact this is by far the best place for both of my children to be! Thank you to ALL the wonderful staff at A Childs place.

So I feel that this child care is good and is only being carried by the back bone of the workers. The director needs a real wake up call. She use to always be onsite and knowing everything that was going on. Now all she is worried about is her children and how they are being home schooled. This is what she had informed me during pick up. I couldn't beleive my eyes when I saw this director texting one morning in mid conversation with me during the morning when I was dropping off my child. This brought one question to my mind, "Is she watching my child?" It took all my will power to not turn around and leave with my child. If the director is texting, does that mean the staff does too? I love the staff on the other hand and I know they care for my child. I really hope this center gets better. If you consider this center do a lot of research, because the director is good at fooling you.
