General Info
I am currently a Substitute -Teacher for the Banning Unified School District. TEACHING has been my has been my passion for over 20+ years. My motto is "Making Learning Fun!" I am also, a Professional Tutor that caters to each child's individual academic need; assisting in their educational growth and grades. "KIDS R PPL 2!" is not just a name for the tutoring service, but it is a statement. A statement showing the purpose of concentrating on the "Whole Child." Meaning social, cognitive, emotional, physical and ethical child development. Have no fear of the terminology. It's just BIG words saying I use supportive teaching strategies. These strategies include, but are not limited to holding the child's interest, using grade level materials, promoting creativity and developing social skills in a healthy/safe environment. What makes KIDS R PPL 2! unique? It is SIMPLE. I make learning fun! I believe as individuals we all learn differently. It wasn't until they would put on a video that showed and explained that I was able to relate to the teachings. I specifically remember in science shaping volcanoes out of Play-Doh and using baking soda and vinegar to make them erupt. Only then was I interested in wanting to know what made it happen? What chemical reaction caused such? What would happen if we added food coloring? Did I mention I was intrigued LOL. I understand our children going from class to class, having test after test, bummed about homework and feeling overwhelmed. We as educators/tutors must discover an individuals way of learning and implement it with fun activities and develop memorable life long skills. KIDS R PPL 2! is committed to bringing back th
