The Wabanaki Mental Health Association is a privately held, nonprofit organization. Established in 1996, the association provides a variety of psychological and social services. It serves customers throughout Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis and Washington counties in Maine. The association also offers case management, assessment, care development, monitoring, support, advocacy, team coordination and referral services. The Wabanaki Mental Health Association additionally provides mental health diagnosis, HIV counseling and testing and housing services. Its team members include case managers, counselors, HIV outreach workers and student interns. In addition, the association serves children and adults with special needs. The Wabanaki Mental Health Association is located in Bangor, Maine.
