Founded in 1880, James W. Sewall Company provides comprehensive services in geographic information management for municipal government, utilities and the natural resource industry. One of the largest and oldest mapping firms in the Northeast, Sewall is experienced in GIS development and maintenance, utilities data management and natural resource valuation. The company has produced natural resource mapping for more than 15 million acres of land; managed data for 100,000 miles of interstate gas, electric and telecommunications systems; and mapped over 850 communities across the nation. It has core technical expertise in aerial photography, surveying, photogrammetry, cadastral mapping, software development, forestry and engineering. With offices in Maine, New York, Kentucky and North Carolina and four aircraft based at two airports, Sewall is equipped to meet the needs of a diverse and geographically broad client base. James W.
