BOUNDARY SURVEYS account for 80% of our business and should be considered by anyone buying real estate, i.e. a house or land, or anyone preparing to convey (sell) real estate. For a small fee we can review the description of the property in the proposed deed. If you are designing a construction project we can peform a TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY and prepare a map of the land at the job site to assist planning where to located buildings roads, drainage, etc. If you live near a river, stream, lake or pond, you may lie within its flood zone and be subject to FEMA flood insurance regulations. By surveying the elevation of the property or buildings, we may be able to either officially remove them from the flood zone (LOMA) or reduce the cost of the flood insurance with an ELEVATION CERTIFICATE.
