Through my aid Melissa, I have been sending my clothes, bags, etc. for repairs and alterations to Linda's Alterations for several years. The quality of her work is undeniable, her prices are very reasonable, and my items are always ready on time. If there were many seamstresses in the area, I would stick with Linda--even if the other seamstresses had passed eighth-grade sewing.

Absolutely zero business ethic...sold a sweatshirt of mine apparently after thirty days of not picking it up. If there had been any sort of paperwork saying that this was a "policy" then that's a different story. Little did she know that the sweatshirt had sentimental value as it was my cousins sweatshirt who had passed away. You truly have zero business ethic, hopefully Karma will serve it's due justice. If this is your "policy" you may want to be open for pickups more than 12 hours a week. This is a zero star rating, but I had to at least pick on star.

I can not say enough good things about the quality of Linda's work. I lived in Bangor nine years ago. I used her regularly then and was never disappointed. In the past nine years I have not been able to find someone on par. I actually revisit Linda every so often and have her alter items for me. She is the best!

I've never worked with her, but I've tried. I very kindly asked for a quote on a simple task and the women on the phone yelled at me and told me I was "lucky she was even considering helping me." I was very polite with the women but she was very rude and treated me awfully. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life. If I could give zero stars, I would.

High-quality tailoring at reasonable prices. Congenial staff.

Linda's is great - high quality work. She is very busy so things take 2-3 weeks, but it's worth it.
