I have to admit good selection, but other than that the staff are complete a**holes. They seem to only be nice to you if you're a certain "Type" of person. I have purchased over $100 worth of merchandise they and they STILL are snooty. Do yourself a favor and just order your games online so you won't have to deal with those arrogant a**holes.

Nice local retro and modern game store. Prices in my opinion are a bit high compared to places where I get all my games from, and I'm a collector as well as a gamer. They do have a large selection of games that can't be found anywhere else locally. I suggest stopping in and checking them out.

Great hobby store! The only place around I could find 2nd edition D&D books and at price I couldn't beat online. Can't wait to try out my new Cryx army on their gaming tables!
It is about time we have a full service game store in the Bangor Area. This store is clean and spacious which is great for the many different Tournaments held there on a weekly basis. The pricing is fair and not sure about the trade in value as I don't ever trade in games. They are constantly looking to host events of not only Magic:TG, but War Hammer, Carcassone, and other games. The 2 best things about this store is that it is multi-dimensional and that it is clean, 2 things that are hard to come by in a gaming store in Maine.

Best service and trade in values!!! Never had a problem, the staff is always willing to help out, and on top of that it's clean!!! In response to one of the other review, if you had taken the time to ask any of the staff or the owner (I did because I was also confused about the website) it is being updated and until they are finished all the games are going to say out of stock. It's not like they are a chain store so give them a break. Remember your dealing with USED vintage games your not going to find them in mint condition every single time.

The retro or older games here are over priced and the older games with condition issues, such as torn or peeling labels or otherwise in acceptable condition are not discounted. I've often purchased retro games from other places such as internet auction sites and got them cheaper then Game Citadel even with shipping included. If you do decide to stop in and see what they have I advise gamers to research the value of the game they plan to buy, that way you don't pay to much for what your looking for. As for trade value, if you want to trade in your games here,I would not. Because your not going to get much with the trade in credit due to the games here being over priced. They also have a website, but everything seems to be out of stock. I gave Game Citadel a two star rating because of their prices only. I would love to continue to shop here but their prices will have to come down some for me to return. I know that they have to make money, but what about there customers as well.

I find the other reviews a little off, I have never gone into the store and not been able to get what I was looking for. The staff has always gone out of their way to find what I ask for even if it is at a cost for the store.

I shop here very often for various classic games. Their prices are moderate to expensive and the condition of their games vary from fair to acceptable. Finding new incoming games here seems to be hit or miss depending on the platform in question. I advise gamers to shop at the store rather then online due to the inaccurate game availability and prices. Also beware of their new return policy: All sales final no returns.
