Shivani Narasimhan, MD is a board certified physician specializing in Adult Endocrinology. Dr. Narasimhan earned her medical degree from Drexel University School of Medicine and did her medical training at the George Washington University. During her residency, she also had the privilege of training under Dr. Anthony Fauci at the NIH in Bethesda, MD.Over 20 years of clinical practice and a proven track record of improving clinical outcomes with evidence-based care that prioritizes patient safety, Dr. Narasimhan has high-volume expertise in treating diabetes and performing in-office thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsies using the latest molecular markers to help decrease the need for thyroid surgery. Her special areas of interest include thyroid disorders, PCOS and comprehensive diabetes treatment (including use of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors).
