Please do your research and look at other companies before Brooks. We researched a few companies in 2008 and chose Brooks because their salesperson really sold their customer service. We spent over $7,000 on an awning and were happy with everything until the Spring of 2010. The awning started to pop out of the track when extended and the rod has a bow defect in it. We contacted Brooks the end of May 2010 because the awning is still under warranty but todays date is 10/29/2010 and we are still getting the run around with no solution. They have gone back and forth with taking pictures and sending people out here, and even worse, they never follow up when promised you always have to pursue them. After almost 6 months of getting nowhere and an entire summer not being able to utilize the awning, we are looking at legal action.
