he Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) Certification is the only credential of its kind designed specifically for financial professionals seeking to distinguish themselves as advanced investment consultants. I was selected for the program by my firmâ??s management. To become a CIMA requires successful completion of the educational component followed by a passing score on the CIMA® Certification Exam. The program is offered by the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Today, investment professionals turn to Whartonâ??s program for good reason. I earned my certificate in November of 1998 and I have honed my skills through continuing education that is required to maintain my certification.
