Living Classrooms Foundation is one of the leading providers of community-based educational services in the United States. A nonprofit organization, it has been operational for more than 25 years. The organization provides hands-on education and job skills training for students, at-risk youth and adults. Located in Baltimore, Living Classrooms Foundation utilizes maritime settings, community revitalization projects and other learning environments. The organization also provides applied learning programs in the field of mathematics, science, literacy, history, geography, English, economics and ecology. Additionally, it offers work force development programs, a network of support and resources and academic remediation and continuing education services. The organization s facilities include Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Education Center, Maritime Institute, Rouse-Flick Learning Tower, Center Dock Marina, O Brien Sailing Center and Mikulski Workforce Development Center.
