The Hampstead Hill Academy is operated by the Baltimore Curriculum Project, which is a local nonprofit organization. The academy is a tuition-free public charter school that enrolls more than 520 students in prekindergraten through grade eight. It conducts classes in physical education, instrumental music, band, computer science, art and library skills. The Hampstead Hill Academy also offers before- and after-school care programs. It additionally involves students in chess and basketball teams, as well as ceramics, newspaper, yearbook and chorus clubs. The academy conducts live outdoor music concerts that feature performances by professional artists.
