I had to visit a patient at this facility. The entrance was inviting and clean. However, the conditions on the third floor, where patients stayed, were appalling. The smell of urine was intense. The floors were dirty. This is not a good place for helpless people.

This is not a nice place? The weekend help is so miminal, so useless. Medications are not monitored carefully. No real staff that can or will answer questions. This is a place that I would not let care for my dog. Social Workers will not return calls, no help offered by anyone there. It is just not the place for someone you care about. The weekend staff is verbally abusive to their patients. My niece had to tell one of them that she worked for the State's Attorney's Office, and that if they continued to be verbally abusive she would report them. Really think before putting a love one behind these doors. They have an overall rating of 2 with NIH.
