I am a student/trainee of the center. They offer wonderful training and GED programs for woman age 20 and over, classes are 15 weeks. The atmosphere is harmonious,the advisors, director, staff and even your fellow students are there to help you. They offer counseling and a social worker to help you with problems out side of training and to deal with your Social Services Dept.. The attendance code is very strict, so you have to WANT to be there. The dress code is a strict business casual or scrubs depending on the certification class you choose. They offer certification in, CNA/GNA, Pharmacy Tech (nationally certified), Upholstery, Foodservice, and Culinary Arts to name most. This is a very special training center for empowering woman of all races to strive for independence and better lives. The costs are very low as this is a nonprofit that is ran on donations and grants. You basically only pay for certification tests and a few supplies. It is ran by the School Sisters Of Notre Dame.
