He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William & Mary, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Richmond. While there, he was a member of the Client Counseling & Negotiation Board, the Journal of Law and the Public Interest, and the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team. He also placed first in the school’s annual Merhige Environmental Negotiation Competition and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in the school’s International Business Transactions class. He is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). Mr. Block’s practice focuses on representing claimants before the Social Security Administration and Workers’ Compensation Commission, as well as individuals who have been injured as a result of another’s negligence.

While attending law school, Mr. Nicoll was elected into the Heuisler Honor Society in recognition of his academic achievements. Mr. Nicoll has worked as an attorney with Jenkins, Block & Associates, P.C. since February 1997. After gaining extensive experience representing individuals in their claims for Social Security benefits at both the administrative and appellate levels, Mr. Nicoll’s practice now focuses primarily on representing personal injury clients throughout the state of Maryland. Mr. Nicoll represents individuals who have been injured on the job, as well as individuals who have been hurt as a result of another’s negligence. In his practice, Mr. Nicoll has tried cases at the Circuit Court level in multiple jurisdictions throughout the State. - Social Security DisabilityRobert R. Jenkins (1933–2010) was one of the founding members of Jenkins, Block & Associates. Mr. Jenkins graduated from Lebanon Valley College and received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He served as chairperson for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. Mr. Jenkins testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee on Social Security Disability matters. Mr. Jenkins has also been a speaker at a workshop for the National Joint Conference on Law and Aging. He founded the firm in 1977 and retired in 2004.
