Useless. I went in to get a sweater sized down. I asked if she could just cut out the side panels and sew it back up. That would require cutting two strips of cloth, which were flanked by vertical stitching, on sides and just sew two pieces of cloth back together. She said that it would look ugly and that she couldn't do it. Not very experienced, considering that most hooded sweatshirts are constructed by the same sewing method. Don't waste your time getting things tailored there. Go for the dry cleaning. No brain required.
