Rock-solid performance, baby - that's what I like! And that's what I get at Sunny Escape. I'm a tingle man, and they've got some HOT stuff that just gets me going. I love it here and will never go anyplace else again.

Best tan I have ever gotten, bar none. Relaxed and laid back. No b.s., just great tanning and good service. No gimmicks either. What they tell you is what you get. I like honesty in business, and I've been to some places where its laid on thick and heavy, but the results were quite a different matter. I use only stand-up machines, and the one at this salon is open and roomy. And like I said, best tan I've ever gotten from an indoor tanning salon. I highly recommend it.

I got exactly what I was looking for in a tanning salon here. Good prices, great tanning beds, people who know what they're doing. I even tried their air-brush tanning once. I looked so natural, everybody thought I had gone to Cancun over the weekend! :-) Being blow-dried after being sprayed was an unexpectedly nice touch, as I was feeling a bit tacky when the girl was done. But I left dry and happy! I like to lay down and feel the heat, so though I was very pleased with the results of the air-brushing, I went right back to my favorite bed in room 3. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, but especially to new tanners. Everybody in this place knows what to ask you so you don't burn. And everyone is so nice here, not like some other places I've tried. If you want a great tan for not a lot of money, this is your place.

Definitely one of the best. Still family-owned in an age of "Tanning-Is-Us" chain salons, this salon has a flavor all its own. I have never had a bad experience here, and have had many good laughs. The owners and employees know what they're talking about, so listen to them; especially if you are a new tanner. They'll hook you up so you don't burn and most likely you'll see some color after your first tan.Highly recommended.

I went to this salon because I work out at Synergy Fitness (which is only two blocks away). I used to go to this other tanning salon in Oceanside, but the people there were not very helpful. They didn't know really anything about the equipment, and I had to figure out on my own which room to use and for how long. I got burned a few times before I did figure it out! I was not happy. The first time I walked into Sun Spirit, the girl behind the counter asked me a bunch of questions about my skin and how I tan. Then she recommended a mid-level room, and even gave me some lotion for free. I was impressed with the service here, and I have been to a zillion tanning salons! I also got color from that one session. Why did it take me so long to find this place? :-D

Most excellent tanning salon! This place gave me the best tan I ever got from indoor tanning. Room 3 is the best bed EVER. 12 minutes and I had color, and I mean TAN - not red! Fairly inexpensive too. I think I paid $18, and the guy behind the counter was not only friendly and extremely knowledgable, he gave me some tanning lotion for FREE. He spent like 10 minutes talking to me about what I should do, and he was RIGHT. I go like once a week, and compared to other places, this place rocks. Nobody who works at other tanning places seems to know anything about what they're talking about. And its clean, which is important to me. I'll never go anywhere else.

Not very clean. Rugs and walls are stained and dirty and ceiling tiles are missing and stained from water leaks and mildew. Also often smells of cigarette smoking. Equipement old. The close proximity was the reason I joined when I first moved here. They have gotten steadily worse and I now go to another place recommended to me and is also close by.
