Infocommerce Group Inc (ICG ), originally known as Perkins Group Ltd, was formed in 1995 to address the radical transformation of the information industry that was occurring, by providing guidance, research and advice to producers of commercial database content. Over the last ten years, ICG has established itself as the thought leader in exploring, charting, analyzing and defining the most important issues reshaping the database business. In 2003, ICG acquired the National Directory Conference (renamed the DataContent Conference ) from Simba Information, at the time a unit of Primedia. In recognition of the rapid developments in information about healthcare, ICG in 2007 launched a new division called Health Content Advisors. Like ICG, Health Content Advisors produces a weekly blog and annual conference, as well as providing consulting services to a broad array of health content producers.
