General Info
We have developed and implemented systems for assuring quality of care, and are regularly collecting outcome data to evaluate our effectiveness in order to make program improvements. Specifically, we evaluate our ability to ensure that children and youth in our care remain safe from abuse and neglect. We also measure the degree to which children are moved from one home to another in an effort to maintain placement stability. In addition, we determine our success with meeting children's permanency goals, such as returning home, being adopted, or completing independent living goals by age 18. Finally, we analyze the degree to which referring agencies, children, and foster parents are satisfied with the services we provide. In order to provide foster care services, we must meet and maintain individual state and Alliance requirements for licensure. In many states, our own standards exceed state and local requirements. We pride ourselves on maintaining close and collaborative relations with state and local offices, as well as colleagues from other agencies. We are a vendor of Regional Center provider, and is a mender of the Foster Family-Based Treatment Association.
