      So kind and welcoming professionals. our guinea pig started having difficult breathing. i called my regular vet but they couldn't see me that afternoon. they referred me to All critters animal hospital in Bakersfield. Although it was an hour drive from Tehachapi, it was worth it. Every one in the hospital was so kind and welcoming. Dr. Mahal was very thorough with the health check and you could tell he really loves animals. our g. pig was put on oxygen right away. Then they did X-ray and showed me that our little piggy had pneumonia. They treated her and kept her on oxygen overnight. We picked her up next day . She was breathing better. they send home some medicine. She started feeling back to normal in 10 days. She could had died if won't take her to the vet that afternoon. Thanks to the vet and the staff.

      very impressive service and a qualified vet. Very helpful and friendly staff. They saved my dog Snowy who ate rat poison. i called my regular vet about my dog foaming from the mouth and some rat poison pellets scattered on the garage floor. The receptionist said in an upset voice, its almost 5pm, we are closing in a few minutes, better take your dog to emergency place. My husband googled if any vet close to us in northwest is open. Luckily we found all critters stay open till late. We called them and rushed to the facility, the staff and the vet started helping our dog right away. We love their service and the prices. All critters hospital vet Dr. Mahal is our new vet.

      Staff is exceptionally friendly and obviously enjoy working with all types of animals and exotics. Dr. Mahal is very thorough and spends enough time to explain what are my pet's needs. He takes care of all my pets since 1995. I count on the vet and the staff. i like them, they open 7 days a week and the prices are very affordable. I recomend Dr. Mahal to all pet owners.

      What a great veterinarian and the staff ! I took my almost dieing puppy of vomiting and runny stools. They took the puppy in an isolated room and tested him for parvo. When the test came out positive I was crying because my mom's puppy died of parvo. The vet was so nice and he explained me about parvo disease and gave me options of treatment. I chose to keep my dog hospitalized for 4days. I was visiting my baby everyday. The staff was very helping. My puppy was very playful on the 3rd day evening. I took my puppy home next day. I realy appriciate the vet and the nurses. The prices were very reasonable too. I strongly recomend everyone to use the wonderful services at animal and bird vet clinic
