i would trust my twelve year old daughter with my money before i ever trusted them with it

I invested a 52,000 dollar CD with National Penn in April of 2009. The rate was fair at 2%. I was told that if I did nothing this would renew at the current rate at the time of renewal. For 16 months this received about $100 in interest. Then, after I assumed that the renewal rate would be perhaps less but near the 2% I had signed up for. I was amazed that NP dropped my CD to 0.44%. This is less than a savings account. National Penn is no better than any predatory credit card company. This was a scam. A bait and switch. The bank manager had little interest in my complaint. So I withdrew the whole amount and am headed for my credit union. I suggest you do the same!!!
