Located in Averill Park, N.Y., the Rotary Scout Reservation of the Twin Rivers Council is a summer camp. The camp offers various activities, such as ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and sleigh riding. It also supplies a variety of active programs, including mountain biking and hiking for older scouts. The Rotary Scout Reservation provides accommodations for groups of up to 30 people. The Twin Rivers Council is a charter member of The Boy Scouts of America, which offers educational programs for boys and young adults to build character and develop personal fitness. The parent organization s scout camps are inspected and accredited annually by teams of trained volunteers to ensure the health, safety and quality of programs for campers. The organization has partnerships with government bodies, corporations, professional associations, and religious, educational, civic, fraternal, business and labor organizations.
