Established in 1953, Travis High School is a learning center that enrolls students in grades 9 through 12. It is governed by the Austin Independent School District, which serves more than 82,070 students through various elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides English as a Second Language and special and vocational education programs. It conducts classes in French, Spanish, biology, life skills, physics, and health and computer education. Travis High School s academic curriculum also includes journalism, business education, and family and consumer science.
