St. David s Medical Center is a full-service medical facility that offers comprehensive specialty services such as neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, women s health care, rehabilitation, geropsychiatry and bariatrics to residents of central Texas. The center was established in 1924 and is situated on a 13-acre campus in Austin, Texas. Its facilities include a 325-bed acute and emergency care hospital, a neuroscience center, a geropsychiatric care pavilion and a 64-bed rehabilitation center. St. David s Medical Center is part of the St. David s HealthCare Partnership, a collaboration between the nonprofit St. David s HealthCare System and HCA, the nation s largest provider of health care services.
