Dr. Bening is a Psychiatrist and Certified Brain Health Coach. She has over a decade of psychiatric experience and was a Medical Director at a substance abuse rehabilitation center for 3 years. She pays special attention to individual needs as shaped by each clientâ??s history, specific context, and stressful or traumatic life experiences/circumstances. She approaches patients with warmth, understanding and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and a sense of comfort and trust. Following the completion of her bachelorâ??s degree at Texas A&M University, she received her Medical Degree at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and then her psychiatric residency training at UT Southwestern Programs in Austin, Texas. It is her hope that
