I agree with the last review, we had a wonderful time. The hospitality of the friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. It felt like a visit to a relatives house with a hot Breakfast, pool, cookies at 3:00 pm. Come on what more do you need? The rooms are very simply decorated however the private balcony had an awesome view and lots of privacy. I will recommend to all I know going to the Austin area.

I recommend this lodge because it was exactly what I was looking for. It was quiet and quaint. Right from the start, during the check in procedure I was greeted with excellent customer service, very friendly. The view added to the ambiance of a privately owned boutique with a private balcony to watch the sunset.The pool was inviting and very refreshing. People in Texas are so very friendly!We had one problem with the room with a light bulb being out. I called the front desk and they came to fix it immediately. Great Management response.I recommend this lodge to everyone young and old. We had a very delightful visit.

Accomodations were not good- room was stinky, dirty. No view due to overgrown trees. For the price, it was totally unacceptable. Management was outright rude, unwilling to make customer happy.

The location

They were very unprofessional--made a mistake in checking us in and refused to make it right or let us know to whom we could get in touch to file a complaint. The water ran constantly in the tub and was not fixed after mentioning it to the desk clerk. She said the hotel was old and they had plans to update. The bathroom floor was sticky. All in all a very bad stay---will never go back or recommend them to anyone.
