Lakeway Elementary School is a part of the Lake Travis Independent School District. The school serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, music, and computer and physical education. Lakeway Elementary School provides special education services to gifted and talented students. The school also operates a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising activities and special programs, including carnivals, book fairs and talent shows. Its staff includes a custodian, nurse and educational diagnostician. In addition, the school provides a range of services that includes counseling, food, transportation and medical care. Lakeway Elementary School also has a gymnasium, cafeteria and library.
