The Austin Chronicle (November 11, 2014, 11:00a):

Putting his money where his mouth is, Korioth even wagered somewhat of a bet, offering up a $10,000 check to any organization the LGBTQ-right group chooses if his business sales increase after the implementation of the rainbow crosswalks – yet if the sales drop, he challenged the gay rights group to answer to the bar’s investors and employers.

KXAN (November 12, 2014, 3:40p):

“Putting rainbow stripes down on crosswalks on either sides of a block says exclusion to us, not inclusion, and that’s really our basis for opposing this,” said Korioth.

Well, which is it, Korioth? Money or justice? Is it you fret that the crosswalks will drive away all your homophobe and “bra” business? Or are you, with a “straight” face, seriously trying to argue that the rainbow is an albatross of exclusion – you know, the same way the religious right argues that the gays are the real bigots? (By the way, here’s a lesson for you: the rainbow flag in the US has a history going back to Thomas Paine and the Revolutionary War.)

Austin Eater (November 11, 2014, 12:53p):

Most of the businesses on West 4th Street support the move, and former critics like Peche have revised their position.

You keep trying to censor my review on Yelp (freedom of speech wanes again in the face of freedom of market), so I am reproducing your public words for the public to see. People should make up their own minds, but at least they should know what it is they are making up their minds about.
