If you are looking for a small, friendly church where everyone will quickly know your name...where you'll be loved and accepted regardless of your age, class, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation...where you'll be challenged to reflect on your beliefs, acknowledge your doubts, ask your questions and grow in your faith...where God's desire for compassion, healing, reconciliation, and justice is preached...where you're given the opportunity to put your faith into action through effective volunteer and outreach ministries...then we hope to get to know you as a new friend. No matter who you are or where you are in your journey, you are welcome here. We are affiliated with United Church of Christ ( UCC ), a liberal Christian denomination that promotes spirituality, peace, justice, education and freedom throughout the world. Here you will find a faith community where members accept and encourage spiritual seeking, diversity and fellowship. Serving our immediate community is a large part of our faith, members participate in the local food pantry sponsored by Micah 6, share the responsibility for a freeze night shelter housed in our basement and share space with LifeWorks community outreach program. Join us for worship every Sunday at 11 am and Adult Sunday School at 10 am. Click for directions. On Sunday, December 12, Beth Gleason will offer a slide presentation after worship on the floods in Pakistan, and offer information on how you can respond. December 19, Candellight Service at 7pm Join us for a service of readings, carols and candles lighting the darkness as we anticipate the birth of Jesus. Join us at 12: 00 noon for an informal communion service followed by our annual Open Door Christmas Meal.
