We had a terrible experience with this company and would never use them again, or recommend them to anyone. Our gardener pointed out a leak in the concrete on one side of the house. We called Clarke Kent plumbing and they came out to take a look. Not only did they take 6 hours to inspect the leak, they told us the only way they could figure out where the leak is is to use a "carbon machine" which would cost us $550. if they didn't find the leak, they would expense this. However, if they found the source of the leak, we would pay for this. Desperate and admittedly ignorant, I said yes. They went out to "buy" this machine, came back, and confirmed the leak to be in the bathroom sink. Then they said they would have to tear down the wall, run a new line, all in all it would cost $2000 just to open the wall and another estimated $10 to 15,000 to run the line depending on what they found. We were shocked.Cut to: we called a leak detection company. paid $475 for them to detect a leak with hi-tech equipment. They found leak in our toilet sealant, gave us a video of the detection for our records, and said it would be an easy fix estimated around $200.We called Clarke Kent and asked to be reimbursed for their misdiagnosis. They came, they made all sort of excuses, now they refuse to get back to us on anything. They asked for all our receipts and said they would get in touch with the company that fixed the leak to figure out what they did. In short, it has been months and still no response to any of our calls. We feel they are totally incompetent at best, corrupt at worst. Beware before considering them.

I had a water emergency and someone was at my house, after hours, within 30 minutes. I was thrilled with how quickly they came and solved the problem, then followed up the following day. Karen

Gary was very professional and helpful - he explained everything along the way, offered us options when appropriate, and answered all our questions. The work was also done in a timely fashion and for a price that undercut the competition (we had gotten 2 other bids before going with C.K.) Thanks again!

Above average for sure. More professional. the plumber who came out solved a complex problem and fixed several plumbing issues that other plumbers had not been able to correctly diagnose much less find the cause of the problem.

The service has been good and the plumber Jeronimo has been great to deal with and stands behind his work. Your accounting department Linda Daniels has help with additional service request. Please thank them all for taking pride of there work. Hector G.

I've been using Cynthia since she got into the business in the eighties! Have had very good service for all these years. Fast, considerate, professional, and reliable. Have always recommended your service to anyone I met that needed a plumber. Very satisfied. Hi Cynthia!

I like the way you guys do business. Your techs are always friendly and interested in my problem. Your arrival time is always good, and you have always fixed promptly whatever has gone wrong. When installing something new, it always works well. I like having all work proposed explained thoroughly to me, especially the cost.

Twice we stopped up our kitchen drain. Clarke Kent specialists arrived promptly and corrected the problem. We also purchased two toilets. The gentlemen who did the work in our home (Robert A., Casey, and Mike E.) couldn't have been more professional. We strongly recommend Clarke Kent Plumbing and will use the company for all our plumbing needs.
Do not do business with this company. I had two leaking toilets and a leaking faucet. They charged $220 to fix them. Within 2 months they were ALL leaking again worse than ever. I called them to ask them to come back and do it right and they very curtly informed me that I would be charged again. They do not do the job right, they overcharge, and they don't stand behind their work. Needless to say I did not have them come back out. I'll try to get a competent plumber this time. I wish there were a zero star rating.
Was a given a 2 to 4 hour window for the technician to arrive. After 4 hours, I called a second time only to be told they didn't have a record of my first call. Technician finally showed up 5 hours after the initial call. The quote on the phone for a drain cleaning was $30 service call, $23 for each 15 minutes, with a minimum of 30 minutes ($76 minimum). When the Technician arrived on-site, he originally told me it would be $160 plus $23 for each 15 minutes, then dropped it to $130 then dropped it again to $112.50. When I challenged his quote, he told me I must have been mistaken or given an incorrect quote over the phone. This sounds like a bait and switch to me! Keeping me waiting all day (Friday) so that if I didn't use their service, I would have to pay weekend or afterhour rates. BAD! BAD!! BAD!!!
