Provided by YP.comAfter years of avoiding any sort of professional mental help, I decided to give this place a shot since it seems to get decent reviews, and is on my insurance plan. I've only met with Dr. Landrum as far as the Dr.'s go, so that's my point of view. Mainly, the good reviews seem to come up because of Dr. Schussler, but what you should know before you begin is that he's not even in Austin, and only travels to see patients once a week for medication management. They do inform you of this immediately, so I was aware (and that isn't the source of my distaste), however after a series of initial testing, and several hopeful appointments, my skepticism in even this office was proven valid, sadly, again.
Maybe they might be able to help you if you're scared on bugs or something minor, but with any sort of more complex diagnosis or even just being 100% honest about your feelings, they basically don't even provide treatment, and instead tell you to transfer to another office. And my diagnosis really isn't even that severe or complicated, so I'd hate to see what this place CAN'T do if you're really suffering from severe mental issues.
It's almost like they want to only "treat"/see mental patients who are "fine."
I had been so proud of myself since I'd finally began to seek help because I've been struggling for over 15+ years, but I guess it was too much for them to handle. My frustration was handled with extreme coldness, which really didn't help either. Seems I wasted a lot of time, money, and patience with this office. Maybe it'll work for others, but definitely not for me. What a letdown.
