I was referred to Dr. Berry for a 2nd opinion after we had already been being seen by Texas Perinatal.I have a VERY high risk background (lost a baby at 35 wks, preterm labor at 25 wks, history of abruptions & cervical shortening) and I am now pregnant with twins! Their course of treatment is 1960's,hands off medicine.They would not try to do anything if I go into preterm labor (which I am sure I will since I have been bleeding since 8 wks and contracting since 16wks)except, admit me to the hospital, give me steroids and "hope for the best"-insane plan if you ask me! Their main suggestion was to "take it easy". I have already lost one baby and almost my second-I was devistated and left the appt. crying. I asked my OB to speak with another Perinatalogist and she referred me to Dr. Berry. He obviously cares about saving babies and said there were MANY things he could do to keep my babies in me. I am so happy I saw him and now feel my babies have a fighting chance. He is a true Godsend!!

Not commenting abt the doc as he did not visit with me during my ultrasound . The staff ...some of them were ok overall...some worse....too business oriented..to the extent of being fake....fake smiles....fake concerns....fake 'how you doing'? They are just interested in earning the business.... Total lack of compassion for the patients...it's sad !because especially when you are in the field of perinatal care...you've to have the natural tendency towards being extra careful, nurturing towards the patients! But at this particular place, If anything goes wrong, they will blame it on the patient(somehow)....they should question their intelligence before doubting poor patients!! Had I known this, I would have chosen to go someplace else! GO THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK YOU MIGHT GET COLD TREATMENT!

We were amazed at Dr. Berry's knowledge and professionalism; his office facility and staff is absolutely top notch. We'd recommend him to anyone.

Dr Berry is my perinatologist for a Twin pregnancy. I requested to move to Dr Berry after a not-so positive experience with another perinatologist. I have never regretted my decision! Dr Berry's office is soothing, his staff is friendly and helpful and he is one of the best doctor's I've ever seen. He spends a huge amount of time with you answering questions and ensuring you feel comfortable with how your pregnancy is progressing. If I am pregnant again, i will not go to any other perinatologist - only Dr Berry. He's the best and only (in my opinion) in Austin.

I firmly believe that Dr. Berry literally saved my baby's life. We had a "miracle" pregnancy to start with followed by lethal complications around month four. We were devastated and told that our baby probably would not make it. Then we were sent to Dr. Berry. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about our baby's complicated diagnosis, but he possessed an indescribable quality that exuded peace and comfort to what can only be described as an unbearable situation. I was completely shattered, but Dr. Berry gave me the one thing I needed the most....HOPE. My beautiful baby boy was born healthy and proclaimed a miracle by everyone who had worked so diligently on his case. Dr. Berry was the pinnacle that made it happen and I will forever be grateful to him and his wonderful staff. He is the best!!!Codie Crenshaw

I was cautious about my pregnancy as I had suffered with complications previously. I was referred to Dr Berry at Austin Perinatal and the moment I walked in the door I knew that my baby and I would be in safe hands. From the welcoming smile of Julie at the front desk to the charismatic sonographer Steven I felt like we were in the best care. Dr Berry was comforting, supporting and extremely knowledgable in all aspects of my prenatal care. I plan to have another baby in a year or so and know who I want to be referred to. excellent
