$60/night for a place like this? I think not.

The motel is too expensive for...

The motel is too expensive for the decor it has. I have had to rent there while I was looking for a permanent rental place. The fact that I have a kitchenette is wonderful but the entire kitchenette needs remodelling. The rugs are full of cigarette burns, the curtains are torn, the bed is hard as a rock, the tile floors in the kitchen and bath are ancient and were dirty when I moved in. The washcloths are often grey like someone used them for a rag. The bedding needs replacing since it has cigarette burns, also. On the positive side, the room has a kitchen with a full-size working refrigerator, a table with a microwave on it, a full sink and stove. The kitchen curtains weren't too bad and there is a window to look out of there. The stove needed cleaning, especially the oven. All the walls need paint in all of the rooms since most look like someone splashed food on them or different colored paint from the ceiling when it was painted. There is a bonus couch which was very nice to watch TV from and it opens up with another bed inside. Furniture is old style but in rather good repair. The lamps have to have new shades as they are all stained terribly. For a place to stay where they change your towels every day, it's okay. They will clean the room if you want that but since I had my two cats with me, I was afraid they would leave the door open too long and the cats would be gone so they honored me by letting me do what cleaning I was willing to do. There will be no dishes to cook in so you will have to supply your own from the local thrift shops for a long term stay. Short term stays are nice since the staff are rather kind but wary. They have a lot of people stay there from the local construction crews so if that's not your type of people to hang out with, best avoid this motel. There is no pool and it does have a second floor with a balcony so if you need the first floor, better ask for it ahead of time as the owner fills those rooms first. The TV programs are mostly sales promotions with only a few entertainment channels and lots of sports channels as she caters to the local construction crowd. My experience here was better than the previous motel where I complained to the owner about bed bugs and got no response. I didn't find that to be a problem at Wolf's and my sores did heal up there. All in all, the experience was okay.

Good quality for the price

Older motel with great rates, and pet friendly. I stayed there for over 10 years.Manager and asst manager are great people. And the place is close to the interstate, bus line ,fast food and a super k-mart down the street,And the hospital is across the street. Small laundry room, and they are furnished 1 bedroom units with cable.Me and my dog,cat and oh yea my wife were happy there.
