I will never stay at this motel ever again. We are extremely dissapointed as there are bed bugs in the blankets, stains on the walls, carpet, and bathtub. There are rat traps in the bathroom and I got locked in the bathroom. It was freezing cold in the room and we could not control our own heat and when asking the assistant manager about it she rudely said that this is why we have an extra blanket on the bed! The next room they moved us to smelled like mildew / mold and was not at all any nicer than the first. I refused to stay another minute in this motel so we tried getting our $58 back, which I have to say is way over priced for this dump to begin with, but they would not even return our money until my husband threatened to call the health department on them and the lady didn't even know how to return our $$ on to our visa card. She claimed to return our $58 but come to find out we never did get it back. I do not recommend that anyone stay here at the carriage motor inn. They should get shut down.

We stayed at this motel July 18, 2014. We stayed there for one night. It was one of the worst places we have stayed in. The air conditioning did not work, the room was not clean, and there was a refrigerator that looked like it had not been cleaned out for a long time. The shower hardly worked, the bathroom was a disaster and the paint on the walls looked like it was peeling all over the rooms. It smelled like somebody had gone and pissed all around the bed. We actually put the top blanket on the floor to keep from stepping in it. My husband got something from the office to spray, but it didn't do a lot of good. It still smelled bad. Service was the worst ever, these people need to put some effort into doing some repairs, and updating. This was one of the worst experiences in a motel we have ever had in a motel.
